TRAFFIC MANAGER

About the Role:

We are on the lookout for a well-organized and detail-oriented Traffic Manager to join our dynamic team. The Traffic Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of transportation scheduling and routing, ensuring that shipments are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of transportation scheduling and routing, ensuring that shipments are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement transportation policies and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation operations.
• Plan and coordinate daily transportation schedules and routes to ensure the timely delivery of goods.
• Communicate with customers to resolve any transportation-related concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and manage transportation expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and insurance costs.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities and inventory levels.
• Stay informed of industry trends and regulations, and make recommendations for improvements to transportation operations.
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure that all shipments are made according to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments and suppliers to ensure that all shipments are processed and delivered efficiently and effectively.

Requirements:

• An undergraduate degree specializing in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Willingness to work solo and as part of a large team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, including routing, scheduling, and fleet management.
• Familiarity with transportation management software and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
