TEXTILE TECHNOLOGIST

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Textile Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of textile production processes, as well as a passion for innovation and quality. As a Textile Technologist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our textile products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and development to identify new textile production processes and materials.
• Work closely with the product development team to ensure that designs are translated into production accurately and efficiently.
• Develop and maintain an up-to-date knowledge of advancements in textile production processes and materials.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that all textile products meet the required specifications.
• Conduct regular testing of textile products to ensure that they meet performance and safety standards.
• Provide technical support to the product development and production teams.
• Collaborate with suppliers and external partners to ensure that materials and production processes are of the highest quality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Textile Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in textile production or related field.
• Strong understanding of textile production processes and materials.
• Experience with quality control procedures and testing.
• Knowledge of textile regulations and standards, such as Oeko-Tex or REACH.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A strong appetite to work independently and willingness to switch to a team environment whenever such needs occur.
• Adapts quickly to high-stress scenarios while ensuring deadlines are met.
