SURVEYOR

About the Role:

We have a requirement for an experienced Surveyor with a good track record to join our construction team. This role will require the selected candidate to perform duties like monitoring construction projects, preparing project maps and plans, and carrying out land surveys.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out land surveys for accurate data for the project – distances, angles, elevations etc. and analyse them.
• Present findings and data to the stakeholders through maps and plans.
• Ensure adherence of the project to the land surveying standards and regulations.
• Incorporate new technologies and industry advancements into the project for more accuracy and better results.
• Work in a cross-functional team that consists of construction managers, architects, and engineers and verify that survey data is accurately incorporated into the construction plans.
• Understand the exact needs of the clients through proper communication and make suggestions and recommendations for the project and survey.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Surveying or a related field.
• In-depth knowledge of surveying practices and principles.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in land surveying, construction, or related field.
• Experience with surveying software (AutoCAD, Total Station or Civil3D).
• Ability to work and make decisions independently.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Should be able to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
• A valid driver's license.
