SURGEON

About the Role:

We have an opening for an experienced Surgeon to join our surgical team. You will be accountable for delivering the best patient outcomes and carrying out a wide range of complex surgical procedures. The role will require you to work with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and ascertain the urgency and viability of surgical procedures.
• Perform surgical procedures of a complex nature with accuracy and precision.
• Optimize surgical outcomes by incorporating the right type of equipment and technology.
• Evaluate patients' condition during the surgery and improvements after the surgery.
• Make quick interventions if patients' conditions deteriorate.
• Bring about coordinated assistance in the patients' care through effective communication with the families, patients and the other healthcare professionals involved.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in surgical procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatments.
• Comply with the legal standards and ethical practices in the delivery of medical care.

Requirements:

• MD from an accredited medical institution.
• Board certification in a relevant surgical speciality.
• An active medical license.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to liaise with other healthcare professionals.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the relevant surgical speciality.
• Should have excellent organisational skills.
• A passion for providing superior quality healthcare to patients.
