RESPIRATORY THERAPIST

About the Role:

We need a self-motivated and highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our newly opened hospital. In this role, you will provide patients suffering from breathing and lung disorders with appropriate respiratory care. You will also be working with other healthcare professionals at the facility and ensuring that patients receive the best possible care and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate the respiratory conditions of the patients and design individualized treatment plans.
• Closely monitor the lung function as well as the breathing pace of the patients and modify the treatment procedure in case of fluctuations.
• Keep every concerned professional – physicians, nurses etc. – updated about the patient's conditions and ensure the delivery of effective healthcare.
• Engage in ongoing learning to stay current in the role.
• Administer various types of respiratory treatments such as inhaled medications, mechanical ventilation and oxygen therapy.
• Communicate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure safe and effective patient care.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest changes taking place in respiratory therapy and related medical technologies.
• Maintain patients' records with accuracy and confidentiality.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Should be able to work under pressure and in a team environment.
• In-depth knowledge of respiratory diseases, physiology and anatomy and the treatment methods.
• Valid license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Strong documentation skills.
• Dedicated to delivering superior quality patient care.
