PHARMACIST

About the Role:

We are looking for a qualified and currently practising Pharmacist to join our new healthcare facility. In this role, you will dispense medications, and deliver patient counselling and medication therapies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medical supplies, equipment and medications as per the prescription to the patients.
• Counsel patients on the correct use of the given medications, possible chances of interactions with any other medications being taken and the side effects.
• Stop any adverse reactions to medication therapy by keeping a close watch on the process.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations on the use of prescribed drugs.
• Ensure safe and effective medication therapy to the patients by way of timely collaboration with physicians and other involved healthcare providers.
• Document case records of patients' drug therapy and update them in case of any inclusion of new drug therapies or medications.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest innovations taking place in the field of medicine.

Requirements:

• Graduation in Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an accredited institution.
• Expertise in pharmacotherapy, pharmacology and drug interactions.
• Should be willing to work in a patient-oriented and fast-paced environment.
• A valid pharmacist license.
• Demonstrate strong counselling, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Dedicated to delivering superior quality patient care.
