MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

About the Role:

We are on the hunt for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in industrial maintenance and a passion for ensuring that our equipment and facilities run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute maintenance activities for production equipment and facilities to ensure that they are running at optimal performance.
• Respond to maintenance requests and equipment breakdowns in a timely manner, using problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans to reduce the likelihood of equipment breakdowns.
• Continuously improve maintenance processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
• Work closely with production teams to understand their equipment needs and ensure that they have the necessary support to operate effectively.
• Manage relationships with equipment suppliers and external partners to ensure that maintenance services are of the highest quality.
• Conduct regular audits of maintenance processes and equipment to ensure that they are meeting quality and performance standards.
• Keep accurate documentation for every instance when maintenance activities for the equipment are done.

Requirements:

• Candidate must ideally have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a pertinent field.
• At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Thrives in both self-directed roles and cooperative team settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Skilled at maintaining focus and delivering results in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
