LOGISTICS ANALYST

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to join our team. The Logistics Analyst will be responsible for analysing transportation data and providing insights and recommendations to improve the efficiency of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse transportation data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement logistics policies and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation operations.
• Monitor and report on transportation expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and insurance costs.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather data and information necessary for analysis.
• Provide recommendations to improve the efficiency of transportation operations.
• Stay informed of industry trends and regulations, and make recommendations for improvements to logistics operations.
• Work closely with the transportation and operations teams to ensure that all shipments are made according to customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation and logistics activities and inventory levels.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in transportation and logistics operations.
• Strong analytical and data analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work solo and contribute to team projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of transportation and logistics operations.
• Familiarity with logistics and transportation management software and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
