IMPORT EXPORT COORDINATOR

About the Role:

We have an upcoming requirement for an experienced Import/Export Coordinator to join our team. The Import/Export Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the import and export of goods from one country to another, ensuring that all shipments are made in compliance with customs regulations and in a cost-effective and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the import and export of goods, ensuring that all shipments are made in compliance with customs regulations and in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, carriers, and government agencies to ensure that all shipments are well-coordinated.
• Prepare and submit customs declarations, bills of lading, and other required documentation for import and export shipments.
• Ensure that all shipments are properly packaged and labelled and that the necessary permits and licenses are obtained.
• Monitor the status of shipments and resolve any issues that may arise during the import/export process.
• Communicate with customers to resolve any import/export-related concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Keep accurate records of all imports and exports, and maintain up-to-date information on customs regulations and trade agreements.
• Work closely with the sales and operations teams to ensure that all shipments are made according to customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in Logistics, International Trade, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in import/export coordination.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Readiness and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of international trade regulations, including customs regulations and trade agreements.
• Familiarity with import/export software and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
