FOREMAN

About the Role:

We are seeking a Foreman to join our construction team. The role will involve overseeing construction projects, supervising workers and coordinating the works. You will have to ensure the timely delivery of the work within the budget. Excellent leadership skills and a technical background in construction are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Schedule the construction activities of the project and oversee and coordinate them while being carried out.
  • Obtain all necessary permits and licenses for the project before commencement.
  • Allocate required resources for the project completion.
  • Get workers trained for specific tasks and provide them with the necessary equipment, tools and other requirements.
  • Ensure timely project completion to the satisfaction of the clients within the allocated budget.
  • Liaise with project teams and ensure the safety and efficiency of the project.
  • Keep the clients updated on the progress of the project and communicate with them on a regular basis.
  • Keep watch of the work being carried out and ensure their compliance with quality standards.
  • Ensure that safety regulations are strictly followed.
  • Document the expenses of the project.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Foreman in a construction setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of building safety regulations and codes.
  • Excellent technical background in construction.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership qualities and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work in a deadline-driven and fast-paced working environment.
  • Should be willing to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A valid driver's license.
