FLEET MANAGER

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Fleet Manager to join our team. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are well-maintained and operate efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the maintenance and operation of our fleet of vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are well-maintained and operate efficiently.
• Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures to ensure the efficient operation of our fleet.
• Plan and coordinate routine maintenance and repairs for all vehicles, ensuring that all vehicles are in good working order.
• Monitor and manage fleet expenses, including fuel, maintenance, and insurance costs.
• Hire, train, and manage a team of mechanics, ensuring that all mechanics are knowledgeable of fleet management policies and procedures and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Communicate with customers to resolve any fleet-related concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet activities and inventory levels.
• Stay informed of industry trends and regulations, and make recommendations for improvements to fleet management.
• Work closely with the transportation and operations teams to ensure that all shipments are made according to customer requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in fleet management.
• Excellent leadership and management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• A strong willingness to work independently and sometimes as part of large teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong understanding of fleet management, including maintenance and repair processes.
• Familiarity with fleet management software and technologies.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
