About the Role:
We have an upcoming vacancy for a Dietitian to join our newly inaugurated hospital. In this role, you will provide dietary advice to patients and design an individualised diet plan for patients. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the overall nutrition care for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design individualized nutrition plans for our patients after careful assessment of their health condition and nutritional needs.
- Provide patients with resources, advice or tips on healthy and nutritious food preparations.
- Work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals such as physiotherapists, nurses and physicians.
- Meet the requirement of ongoing education and self-learning to stay up-to-date in the role.
- Counsel patients on meal planning and healthy eating habits.
- Change patients' nutrition plans in accordance with their progress or deteriorations in health.
- Stay current with the innovations and advances taking place in dietetics and nutrition.
- Document each patient's case history and keep it confidential.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Dietetics.
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Dedicated to delivering superior quality patient care.
- A valid license to work as a Dietitian.
- Be capable of working in a multidisciplinary team.
- In-depth knowledge of dietary guidelines, nutrition science and government rules and regulations pertaining to diet and nutrition.
