DELIVERY DRIVER

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Driver to join our logistics team. As a Delivery Driver, your duties will involve transporting products and goods from the warehouses to different delivery locations on time. To excel in this role, you are required to have excellent driving skills, a strong work ethic and self-motivation to deliver a high-quality result.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport goods to different locations as instructed by the delivery department on time.
• Comply with safety precautions and traffic rules while handling the delivery vehicle.
• Get in touch with the customers in advance to confirm the delivery address.
• Document every delivery and any maintenance done to the delivery vehicle.
• Load and unload goods, giving special care not to cause any damage.
• Inspect the safety and working conditions of the delivery vehicle every day before starting.
• Make sure the customer is happy with the service and resolve issues before they worsen.
• Update the manager about the status of the assigned works by the end of your duty.

Requirements:

• Should be physically fit to lift or carry heavy packages, and load and unload packages into or from the delivery vehicle.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
• Well-versed in GPS and maps and able to navigate through new terrains.
• A clean and valid driving license.
• Demonstrate excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Should be able to work both independently and in a team.
• Demonstrate excellent driving skills and in-depth knowledge of traffic rules.
• Experience with using delivery apps effectively.
