DATA SCIENTIST

About the Role:

We have an emerging requirement for a motivated and highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good background in data analysis and machine learning along with the flexibility and ability to communicate the findings efficiently with all the technical and non-technical stakeholders involved.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, inspect, and categorise large volumes of both structured and unstructured data.
• Find solutions to complex business problems by developing and applying advanced statistical and machine-learning models.
• Design and apply data-driven solutions in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure proper communication of findings and insights with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in data science and machine learning.

Requirements:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or Physics.
• Strong knowledge of statistics, machine learning and data analysis.
• Expertise in programming languages (Python and R).
• Must be familiar with using data technologies such as Hadoop, NoSQL databases and Spark.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
