ARCHITECT

About the Role:

We have an opening for a permanent Architect position in our construction company. As an Architect, you will be responsible for turning building design into reality. You develop designs and apply them in their intended setting by liaising with builders, surveyors and engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Discuss with stakeholders and understand their requirements for the project.
• Conceive designs and plans for the project as per the specifications of the client.
• Estimate the cost of the construction project.
• Prepare detailed drawings with specifications of the project for reference and present to the client, stakeholders and other professionals.
• Liaise with engineers, site managers and contractors to deliver the project successfully.
• Ensure compliance of the designs with industry standards, local regulations and building codes.
• Oversee the project throughout its construction phase and do site visits at regular intervals.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status and design decisions to clients and stakeholders.
• Stay current with industry trends and developments, and continue to develop professional skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture.
• A valid architecture license to work in the location of the project.
• Expertise in design skills.
• Experience with using design software (AutoCAD, Rhino3D, Revit).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent collaboration skills to engage with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Familiarity with building codes, construction procedures and industry standards.
• Ability to work in a speed-focused ecosystem, handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
